Description This 1/2-28 thread spacer is handy on Ruger 10/22 factory threaded guns and many .22 AR clones that have the AR spec 1/2-28 thread length. That thread length is about a 1/4" longer than regular .22 threads and without this spacer the crown of the muzzle will hit the baffles inside the suppressor before the suppressor rests on the barrel shoulder which could damage your gun and suppressor. It's also handy on MK18 and other 5.56 rifles where the barrel doesn't stick out very far past the rail. Putting this on behind your quick disconnect muzzle device will push the suppressor forward about 1/4" allowing it to clear the rail better.
